Take What You Can Take EP

We are excited to formally announce our first music release, an EP titled Take What You Can Take. The EP is a collection of five songs that were recorded at 1867 and mixed at Q Division between January and May of 2016. James Bridges was the engineer and Jon Lupfer was the producer. Today I head to the mastering studio to put the final touches on the songs. Here is the track list:

1. Everybody (Take What You Can Take)

2. Dogs and Men

3. Fine

4. I Don’t Really Wanna Care No More

5. Moon

Take What You Can Take will be independently released by Pale Monsters in June. It will be available digitally on date to be determined very soon. To celebrate we’re hosting an EP Release Party at Thunder Road on Friday, June 17. Some of our favorite Boston acts will be celebrating with us: Sidewalk Driver, Pale Hands and Guillermo Sexo. It promises to be an awesome night. You can pick up tickets here and RSVP on Facebook here.

This is some of the best work I’ve been a part of, and I’m really excited to share it with everyone. Recording new music is exhilarating. Releasing it is simultaneously satisfying and terrifying.

In related news we’ll share our debut video for Everybody (Take What You Can Take) in the next couple of weeks.

Before wrapping up we said it on social media and I’ll say it here, thank you to everyone that made it out this past Saturday for our first show at the Lizard Lounge. Playing our first show to a packed room full of awesome people was all we could ask for. If you were there, you heard all of the tunes that are featured on Take What You Can Take. We are really excited to follow up that first show with new music. We hope everyone makes it out on June 17. See you soon.

The photography for the album cover shown above was taken by Frank Tirrell. The artwork was designed by Brian Rusnica.
